KOVotes is built around one simple idea: if you watch the fights, you should get to prove how well you read them. Before every UFC card you predict who wins each bout, and the more you call correctly, the higher you climb the leaderboard.
Every week the UFC runs a new card. KOVotes turns each one into a prediction contest. You make your picks before the action starts, lock them in, and watch your score update live as the results come in. There is no cost to play and no catch. It is a place to test your fight IQ against other fans and settle who really knows the sport.
Most fans already make predictions, in group chats, at watch parties, or just in their own head. The problem is that nobody keeps score, so the person who called the upset never gets credit and the person who picks every favorite never gets caught. KOVotes keeps an honest, permanent record. It rewards bold correct calls, tracks your accuracy over time, and gives you a streak to defend.
Each fight is worth up to 20 points. You earn 10 for the correct winner, 5 more for calling the method (KO/TKO, submission, or decision), and another 5 for calling the exact round of a finish. Bonuses only count when you also picked the right winner, so a confident wrong pick scores nothing. The leaderboard ranks players by total points and also tracks accuracy and current win streak.
Fight cards, matchups, and official results are sourced from Wikipedia, which the MMA community keeps remarkably current. Event start times come from ESPN so picks lock at the right moment for each card, wherever it takes place in the world. Everything updates automatically: new cards appear as soon as they are announced, and results post shortly after each fight is decided.
Selected cards may offer cash prizes for the top finishers. Entry is always free. To keep things fair and to be eligible for a prize you simply verify your email address, which helps prevent duplicate accounts. KOVotes is a free-to-enter prediction game, not a betting site, and there is never any wagering or real money required to play.
